Drivers: Use your GPS, look for Sørkedalen utfartsparkering

Public transport: Bus 41 from Røa T-bane to Sørkedalen school, 5 minutes walk from the bus stop to the parking lot.

NB: bus departures only once an hour during the summer months, so check departures in good time.

We meet at the Sørkedalens utfartsparkering, where there is plenty of free parking.

There are two alternative routes up to Finnerud, either the toll road (about 3.5 km) or the blue marked hiking trail (about 3.3 km and a considerably steeper route). I would suggest that we walk the toll road both up and down.

At Finnerud they open the doors especially for us, and we can buy coffee, waffles and sourdough sandwiches. Rita has also promised to tell us a little about the history of the farm.

If anyone in the group thinks the walk up to Finnerud is too long, there is also refreshments at Sørkedalen Landhandel (both indoors and outdoors).
